in preperation for an impending MOT, today I changed the rear brake shoes and drums on my 90. When I had fitted the drum I couldn't slacken the shoes off enough to turn the drum. My drive is on a slope so I checked that it would roll back with just the weight of the vehicle and it did, so I did the other side (same problem) then took it for a test drive.
Stops better than ever and not as much travel in the pedel, the only thing is that when I got it home I could smell the brakes had been overheating.
Is this just the fact that they are new or Have I cocked up somewhere?
