Hi all.
I'm replacing the a frame ball joint and it's all apart and the bracket is now swinging just attached to the strut.

My question is how I remove the Bracket from the strut?

self leveling unit ball joint is removed from bracket by pulling back gaiter and undoing the large thin nut

Which bit on here is attached to which bit?

Busters guide doesn't have a slu and neither does that diagram. I'd be done otherwise. Will inspect this nut tomorrow! Will the strut not just spin?

More than likely by now the SLU is u/s so might be a good opportunity to remove it all together .
