Hi all,

I have a 2000 Discovery II, it has a 3” suspension lift with the air struts removed from the rear. I’ve pulled fuses and relays to fake out the SLS sensors, but sometimes it still randomly chimes at the 20 mph limit and the SLS light is always on.

I’m thinking I need to do some programming to fully shut it off, but wanted to see if anyone had any suggestions on how to stop it in the mean time, so it doesn’t drive me insane. Haha.

Yes, that's the only way
I did find a temporary fix, which seems to work for extended periods of time… pretty weird though. Once the chiming starts if I cycle it through start up —> drive to over 20mph —> stop —> shut down 3 full times by the 4th cycle the chime goes off for probably 10-15 cycles (estimating). I’ve done this twice now in the past 2 months… pretty odd but it works for me lol… any thoughts on how that works ?
