Hi, can anyone tell me how they’ve slept in the back of their FL2? I’ve got a thermarest, and a sleeping bag. I’m usually wild camping in the outer Hebrides or Orkney. I’ve seen some people have custom made mattresses for the back! Any advice much appreciated, no keyboard warriors thanks.. be kind ✌ :)

I suspect when you fold your rear seats fully you still have a ledge. Is there good leg length comfortable to lay straight. Not knowing your height per say.
My guess is using full bench cushions to even the rear seats then a bum roll with sleeping bag.

Then again you can get a double size airbed big enough

It’s hard to be kind when people ignore the request at the top of a section not to ask questions in it.
You would be better served to ask in the relevant section.

Buy a tent, camp next to it. I use alpkit. I have used North face and mountain hardware in the past. Dont get a roof tent, they are incredibly expensive.

Something I used to do when sleeping in cars was to use 2 sleeping bags.
2 cheap summer bags, one inside the other keeps you warm, the next night change them round, helps stop sweaty bag syndrome....snigger.

I couldn't lay comfortably in my FL2, although the area is flat once the seats are folded down, it's just too short to accommodate an average height man, as the seat bases tumble forwards and rob the area of valuable head space.
