Hi ,
Does anyone know if a six speed box from the land rover defender 90 2.4
will couple up to a 300tdi or a 3.5 v8 or td5 ? It looks like it will by changing the bellhousing and maybe the drive shafts .
Any help would be appreciated .
 
Why would you want to downgrade your gearbox? The 6 speed Puma box is made from Dairylea.
 
Theyre not made of dairylea at all! Theyre made of poo! I find dairylea to be much stronger!
 
beleave me mate have driven 1 of the puma's and that box is utter crap! ya spend all yer time changing gear ! 1st to low, 2nd ok if a tad high, 3rd just as well missit out and go to 4th, 5th is a utter waste of energy , and 6th is ok so just go1,2,4then 6th :rolleyes:
