I don't know if this will be useful at all but I have just installed my nanocom into the D2 so that I can monitor live data and I was trying to find somewhere to install it. As you can see I found a way to do it quite effectively using an old mobile phone holder that opened wide enough to hold the nanocom. And I can use it for the mobile phone too :)

I just cut the ball off the holder (it was one of those that plugged into a cigarette lighter with a long arm) and removed the insert inside the coin tray and drilled a 3mm hole in the tray and a 2mm hole in the ball and fixed it with a screw. Replaced the insert and the coin tray and attached the holder.

As I said, a silly little mod but might give someone an idea :)

Some blighter has stolen your ORM button..........??

Nice little mod, why you are playing change your alarm disable to "always".
I take it you have the latest update that allows it to start on instrument mode and also startup by touching the screen for a few seconds.

Cheers

What's an ORM button?? Why don't I have one :(

I'll check on the updates - probably not as I just bought it from someone who was computer challenged :)

Ahhh, Off Road Mode - gotcha

Unfortunately they haven't worked out how to make springs from memory metal yet - so the road height is fixed on mine ;) :p

OK, here is one..

Do you both still have the original chocks in the bag in the boot?

Cheers

But does he?????
Funny I saw that, My lever only shows L N H , but the sticker in front of the lever does show Diff lock????? I do not have it......:(:(

Cheers
Mine´s the same. I thought something was wrong with the transfer box, as I couldn´t push it to the lock position but no, I just don´t have it...

But I do have the wheel chocks, retrofitted heated screen and the "polen filter"!

Have to love the great mystery of the D2 diff lock, it is enough to rival "Nessie". LR did not future owners any favours with their mix of T'boxes, stickers , lever handles...LOL

Cheers

Your transfer box sticker is faulty. No lock on it.

Glad mine has the lever, sticker, ORM button and heated screen.

Might as well be comfy

Mine doesn´t even have the spigot to connect the cable. Not that I normally need locking difs, and the TC has been great, but if I ever do, I´ll swap my diffs for some Torsens. That should keep me going through the rough stuff.
