Yes unless you are deaf. Stand at the back of the motor and get someone to turn the ignition key to position II. The pump should run for 10 seconds or so as it builds pressure.

Nope nothing ! heard something like a small knock but not the normal 10 sec or so buzz that you would normally get ?
As i posted before ........ tried the self bleed proceedure as well and heard nothing ?
It drives but still got the slight miss and under powered
Got a new filter on order .......... could a blocked filter prevent the pump from operating normally ......... i guess it could ............. this in turn would be a possible answer to my other problem i suppose .......... ?? :)

Pull the pump as it has a gauze filter built onto the housing, mine blocked up twice but i was running some interesting fuel!
But saying that if you cannot hear it the pump is dead, dont bother with the cheap copy ones as they dont last, i speak from bitter experience.
Assuming its a seven seater you can cut the carpet from the seat lock down channels so when its back down you cant seee the cuts, otherwise you have to strip the whole rear out.
