hi i am rebuilding my disco 2 v8.

when built will i be able to just fire it up with out connecting the water side for a few secounds rather than fit the rad back in, in case i have to break it down again.
just make sure i have fuel side ok and electrics right.

Yes, but leave the drive belt off the water pump.
and just for a few seconds!
