I'm going to upgrade the front end of my truck and put a winch on eventually.

Need some inspiration so lets see whats been done, as I like most options including heritage and mesh and adventure it's hard to work it out.

I like those mesh headlight covers on the dark coloured defender on the right! Do you know what make they are?

I'm looking to get a mesh front grill, although I may make something up as the prices are pretty dear, especially for something I want to be able to unscrew mid trek and use as a bbq grill!! :)

I prefer the inset (stealth) winch bumper, means you have not got the bumper sticking way out front.

Much less of a profile hanging out the front. Only thing is you need to cut the bottom of the grille and surround.

Cheers

Awesome picture !!!!
Yes I've seen some of them about and they definitely look the part. Always wondered how they fitted in

+1 from me. Lean an clean.
Though maybe something heavier might suit your dimensions.
Welcome to the rabbit hole :D

I think an air con front panel and gloss black plastic grille would look good on there as it’d bring the grill out to sort of match the profile of the light guards. I don’t think I’d be worried too much about a low profile winch bumper as approach and departure angles aren’t as critical on a 130. Slap an a bar and spots on the bumper if it doesn’t have one attached already maybe...
Great looking truck too btw!!!

I’ve got an ARB bumper with Superwinch X9 to go on my 90. It sticks out quite a long way but that doesn’t bother me. On a 130, I’d suggest it’s not too much of an issue either. No pics yet as it’s not fitted.

I prefer old fashioned! Take inspiration from the original camel trophy vehicles and ignore everyone above who has rounded tubular styles :p. Pedestrians and other vehicle are not important so go for something more like mine! :D

(bush cables are not fitted for everyday use but everything else remains the same)
