Hi folks , was giving my commpresor the once over last weekend, all good there, I noticed that when I refiffed the pump to check its output some air was being vented out of the blue pipe as well as the exhaust, removed exhaust to check it was not blocked, that was fine, the suspension has been work spot on for over twelve months now and the block was refurbed around the same time. Is this supposed to happen?

Ouch! I'll be trying to refurb the old pipe before splashing out on that. Bet a specialist air place would put the ends on a new piece of pipe for you for less.

Thanks for replys, no, the pipe is not split, I tested out put of pump before refitting the blue pipe this is when I noticed some air being vented out of blue pipe. Could it be the NRVs.

So what you mean is air is coming from blue pipe when it is connected to valve block but not connected to compressor. No that should not be happening. NRV 1 or a leaking corner valve. If nothing is dropping NRV 1.

Thanks wammers, no dropping of corners at all, system has been perfect for a while now, or so I thought, will have to try and get hold of some NRVs.

Ah, the plot thickens. Full details necessary.

sorry Alan, yes, air is coming out of blue pipe when connected to valve block but not attached to pump. my bad.

Try contacting Kurtjohnson10, see if he can help re. NRV's

If NRV cone is worn fitting the softer red O'rings is a no no. They deform and leak, better with the black Nitrile ones. One of mine is worn, next time i strip the valve block i will make a new alloy core for it. The NRVs seem to be unobtainable as new spares.

Thanks Alan , will do, when I did my valve block refurb I did use the black o rings but did notice the little cones were worn, have a look around the net but can not find any anywhere.

You won't, they are like hobby horse shit. I have never seen any anywhere second hand or new. They must be available but from where i do not know. That is why i said when i do mine next i will make some new alloy centres.
