Because we had overheating issues! Our radiator was pretty much used up...propping up the bonnet made a huge amount of difference!

You know how to whet an appetite! I would love to do a journey like that. Perhaps in a couple of years when I get a little more cash and a ****load more experience!

You don't need experience to go anywhere....otherwise how would anyone start! Obviously I only saw a very small proportion of Africa but yeah, it was superb, you can't beat driving in the desert. No doubt I will be back again :)

Wow!!

I have to say that 10 minute film is inspiring! So many videos of "us driving in Africa" only have a minute of driving and the rest of someone making or breaking camp, or getting drunk round the fire, but yours was bloody good. Hats off to the editor. So nice to see actual driving .... ;)

Jeez, gonna have to re-think some plans for next year now methinks ... Think I'll have to burn this to DVD and show our lass. She loved the Camel trophy videos, but this is something achievable on (I suspect) a reasonable budget.

Thanks for putting the video up, and I'm checking out the website too .. hope you're ready for a barrage of questions if she OK's it .. ;)
