Been leaving it too long, but knew the N/S rear body mount needed attention. Ordered some parts from Easy On and thought I would do both sides while at it. After taking the rear bumper off, the rear cross section body was looking a bit religious, very holy!!!

Didnt want to drop the tank so cut the top section out so I can get to it. Sorry, didnt take photo before I started but will do as work progresses.

Welder packed p soon after so stopped play!!

Take care as you can lose a bit of shape taking too much off it in one go. Door fit may suffer! Dont forget to cavity wax it when your done:D

I cat believe I started this thread i October. Finally got the welder fixed, Xmas out of the way alog with rather alot of other chores to recommence battle. Managed to get the local welder to do the body mounts as wasnt very cofident in my own ability. Then got on with putting the body panels back together. As is often pointed out.....welding does generally need two sheets of metal to be loined together. So weldig rust or fresh air does make it harder.

I thought that, and then ended up pleasantly surprised by how little needed doing. :D
