After a great deal of research and forum searching on suspension I have ordered new for my 90 truck cab, I've ordered standard length oe heavy duty springs for front and rear and to go with them standard length pro comp es9000 shock absorbers.
However one simple question:
Have I made a mistake on the shockers ???
Should I have ordered +2 shock absorbers and if so what are the advantages I am told the longer shock absorbers would give me better articulation, Ive been offered a pair of 2inch shock absorber lowering brackets for the rear but would I be better just changing the ones I've ordered for +2's ?

I am confused. If the springs are standard length then why wouldn't standard length shocks not be right??

Thats what I thought and why I ordered standard length, however it has since been suggested that I should have ordered +2 shocks. So wanted to see what other people thought.
I just wondered whether the HD springs would lift things slightly and if so whether I had been wrong.
Guessing from your reply that you agree with my standard length ones.

At the moment I run worn standard springs and +2 procomp es9000 as my dampers were knackered and a mate had the procomps going cheap. Only difference is the axle has more droop travel.

Is that a major advantage. I'm told it gives more articulation, but from reading up before ordering the various posts on lifting or not lifting I was lead to believe that it wasnt.
