hi,

at the moment due to a breakage, i do not have a shock absorber on the rear left of my discovery. will this be an mot failure. i am locating a new shock but mot is very soon.

Yes it is - very much so.
If it were me - i would replace both rear shocks. if one is dody - the other wont be far behind.

Are you driving it with a known failed shock, lord help you if you have an accident..you're insurance Co will hang you out to dry

one did break a couple of months ago but replaced that and the other went
