Hi everyone,
I was re-fitting my drive flanges over the weekend as the gaskets were non-existent and the hubs were leaking oil from the axle onto the wheels and this was very messy.

I managed to put 3 out of 5 bolts back in through the flange to the hub OK, but the remaining two appear to have sheared threads on the inside of the hub.

Re-tapping the threads hasn't worked because the holes are too big. Could I use a helicoil to repair the threads inside? What size should I use?

yes ,try and buy the right length but std length would do recoil kits i find cheaper and easier, bsf 3/8 ,these are a fine thread so only need nipping up not balls tight, should be 6 bolts if series

Thanks guys for all your suggestions, I did this on Saturday and am pleased to report that there are no leaks on the side I have fixed.
