Hows about having a services offered section for those in business. It would let people on the forum see local services which may help them out. It might help people get some more work in these difficult times. Just an idea but we are all like minded people on here in different areas with different jobs.

Actually a good idea that :) send all new crossmember stuff pressbrakes way, wiring to whoevers a sparky on here (within distance of course) etc etc
 
Not really vacancys is it. People would look for a services offered thread or whatever it needs to be called to help everyone out.
 
Bit of a faff compared to just having a dedicated sub forum no ?

Sub forum with;

Welding/fabrication
Servicing/repairs
Leccy bits
Paint/body
Mechanical parts
Non LR related


And that would be perfect no ? People on here simply leave a thread in each with a little blurb which gets locked and anyone wanting to contact them for stuff can PM them ?
 
I see that but its still not what i was thinking. As i said its an idea to help everyone out. Just a list with contact made by pm. Maybe????
 
tis a good idea, but i can see it being incessantly spammed.

A lot of peeps just ask the Q - "does anyone know of a good .........?"

My thoughts to. Easy to use without hunting through pages. Maybe areas. The site helps on our landrover problems so why not our work.

Yep but if you had to have the thread approved it could be simpler ?


100 posts minimum to enter the forum kinda like secure unit, then threads can be posted but wont become visible til approved by a mod and you can only post one thread per section ?
 
Maybe once been used a way of marking for recommendations. Like the idea of 100 posts which means they would have to participate properly in the forum and not take advantage of landyzone.
 
you mean like a feedback forum too ? Think there was talk of that, I've sold a lot of stuff on here now and feedback when selling would be nice (used to play golf and golfwrx forum had a lovely feedback setup)

Yea so if someone is used and there good they get feedback. Maybe getting complicated but theres a lot of people on this forum who could help each other out.

Thing is members with higher post count usually have met a few others on here that can vouch for them. Which works ok as far as some form of feedback goes but yes it'd be nice to have past buyers leave feedback :)

Makes people feel at ease when buying and yes it would help those nearby with stuff
