Just had my '07 4.2 S/C serviced and I want to turn the dash indicator on - can I do this myself or will a dealer need to do it? The garage (non LR) told me that it is reset but nothing appearing in the dash display. Thanks.

Why turn it on??

If it is serviced and all is good, the service indicator (Oil Serviec or Inspection) lamps should be off.....

When you first turn the ignition on the Odometer should flash the remaining interval to the next service....

If it is off, then leave it off IMHO...

I assume you mean a display of "10000 miles until next service" style thing? I'm not sure if the L322 has that, the P38 doesn't at least - just comes up with "service due", so maybe that will happen when the next service is due.

It does cos mine has it....:D:D:D

Haha, that end bit indicating you're having a good time with it then? :p Little niggle of last week sorted?
I stand corrected.
In which case, I don't know :p
Yep niggle sorted, I posted pics of the fault etc on the previous thread, turned out to be dodgy ABS sensor wiring - new one from Land Rover fitted at the Weekend....:D:D:D

Thanks for the replies. The indicator doesn't come on when I turn the ignition on and there are no service intervals given in the handbook, hence the question. I want to turn it on as I am not doing many miles so it probably won't need a full service every year.
