60K is a major service (2.8hrs) with all filters but £500 is a bit steep, £300-350 I would expect. Is it a main dealer as that would explain it all...

Ask for a discount and see what happens. Also ask to join the alligiance thing for discount servicing on older LR's.

Oh, and next time post in the Freelander section where you'll get a betterer responce.

That's quite cheap !! You have to realise you're paying all them tosser suite wearing knobs to walk around looking cool !!!
