If you mean the skin above the roof thtsits on the raised ribs I think its a safari

..but my CSW has four opening vents, but no tropical roof above. No sign that it ever did have. So tropical or not?

Correct, that is the only difference between a station wagon and a safari. They are very good in hot weather

Yes, very good for cooling. Bit of a b*gger when you forget to close them and it rains, though.
