Learned to drive in a Series 1. Took the test in February 69 with snow on the ground. Think I was the only one that turned up at the test centre, the landy had no heater and it was a soft top. The examiner was so cold I had to take him home afterwards as hypothermia was beginning to set in, I would have left him at the test centre had he failed me
