Hi all,

Have another real off beat question for you...

My 1988 110 (2.5NA) was brought from a military auction and restored from scratch after which i purchased it.

The gbox and tbox were reconditioned (again !) along with the cylinder head (yes 2nd time) after only 3 months, this time under my supervision. All 110 specific valves, guides etc.. were put in to the head.

Anyway now i'm using the landy and most of my land rover owners club pals comment that my landy has really bad acceleration and does not pull well at all ! And some of them think that a series III head may have been plonked in originally !

Is this possible and if so does this contribute to the 'glacier' like pulling power.

When it gets above 50KMPh then it starts to pull really well (although the engine is screaming by then). The tyres i have on are 275x70x16 AT's.. can these big tyres be the cause !!
