Can Somebody explain what the numbers in the size of the tyres means?


All i know is that mine has 16x7.5 Avon Rangemaster on at the moment, which look pretty good. But If I want to get a new set, what is the 3 digit number all about, like "205" etc.???

750 x 16 is 7.5" wide and 16" inside dia. usually crossply..


205/75 x 16 is


205mm wide with a sidewall 75% of the width and them is radial*
