my only advice is stay away from britpart, quote below with details. if i had to do it again i would get jones springs

britpart 9 leaf front springs series 3 land rover. supposed to be 1 leaf at 0.2 inch and 8 leaves at 0.16 inch thick, are actually 8 leaves of 0.2 inch, 1 of 0.16. U bolts were therefore too short, ride height was too high (dampers would not reach peggs at full extension) ride quality rock solid. started long term dispute with britpart via the retailer, they supplied replacements which were exactly the same and told me nobody else has complained and theyve sold hundreds. this is despite me pointing out every single aspect of the spring specification was wrong, and observable facts after fitting them. reason for purchase, adverts claimed they were high standard, made by santana factory to OE spec, blah blah. they were not even cheaper than alternatives, and therefore i was well psssed off.

Another one here for GB springs, just re-sprung my S2a rebuilt with a set of their Parabolic springs but if you want originality their leaf springs very good too :D

Another vote for GB springs. Their parabolics are good, service is spot on. Their standard springs are well thought of too.

I had a pair of front springs by b.part. 3 years they lasted before they were spreading and rusting apart.

GB springs...are you wanting old style multi leaf or modern parabolic...think GB do both...had of there PB springs on for over 10 years now.

Nick.

Not generally a fan of BP, especially after snapping one of their paras on me 88" BUT....

A couple of years ago (I suspect after a lot of complaints) BP where advertising their springs are now tempered and from steel to original spec.

I'd be interested if anyone has any more recent experience?

Same quality control as normal then

Oh well

yup, heres a rare spy picture from inside the britpart spring factory
