oxides Well-Known Member Aug 7, 2010 #2 Jack up one front wheel, hold the prop still and rotate the wheel - that's the play in the diff. With the handbrake on and fwd engaged, the rest of the play is in the gearbox. How much of this is just the transfer box my befuddled mind isn't sure.
