Hi All,
Just tried driving to the beach and the gearbox is suddenly making a serious rattling sound when its put in gear and driven. Can anyone tell me what this is? Is it terminal?? Its actually already booked into a garage on Monday am - is it due to cost me a fortune?!

Is it terminal?? No - Unlikely to be electrical

Perhaps I'm being cynical, but it's likely to cost you a fortune whether there is anything serious wrong with it or not - that's garages for you!

are you sure it's the gearbox? i thought mine had box trouble cos it was rattling like a bag of spanners, even the first non landy garage i took it too thought it sounded like something gone in the box, took it to my landy garage man who drive it for 10 seconds and said engine valve, he was right and enormous amounts of money later she was fixed
