Hi so took my Series II for a drive the other day and it was fine to start with, and then when I was doing a 3 point turn (more like 7 point but...) When I went to select 1st or reverse it would crunch and refuse to go into gear unless you moved it back a bit more and then went into 1st for example.

You could get it into gear by ramming it in, but this made me cringe every time.

Any thoughts on what this could be?, she hasn't moved for about 8 months.

clutch isnt clearing fully, though rev 1st and 2nd are sliding gears so will crunch unless there speed is matched

Check fluid level.
