Lightweight Ste

Just bought a series 111 Lighweight and am preparing it for the mot.I have removed the truck cab and doors for repair and was going to take it for mot without these whilst the weather is ok. Have had some doubt put in my mind in pub last night and been told i have to have the doors on ??? Now i cant see what difference this makes , can anyone advise ? A 2 pints of mild bet resting on this :) .

i was under the impression that you didnt need doors for an mot, probably wrong though!! my lightwieght managed to get an mot with the truck cab attatched with tie-wraps and rubber hoses joining the exhaust together...... not done by me like!

DOORS

Both front doors must be capable of being opened from the inside and outside and all doors must latch securely.

Tailgates, bootlids etc.

All these items, including the tailboards and dropsides of trucks must be capable of being secured in the closed position.

Aint seen many Trikes, bikes ,Quad bikes, atoms and beach buggies with doors.
wtf is a quad bike?
am guessin it summin wiff 8 wheels, 4 axles wiff 2 wheels on each.

yer dint see many of those with or without doors

If it is not fitted- it cannot be tested. This is especially relevant to Landrovers - Custum Bikes. I would just go for it. If you see my landy - youvd kno'
