Hi just got on with taking the pedal shaft out of the old chassis on my 58 series 1 got the clutch pedal shaft out through the chassis. Then took the nut off the brake shaft but the shaft won't budge. Any ideas

providing you have removed the nut/locking tab and locator lots of plus-gas or WD40 large
open -ended spanner on the two flat rocking it backwards and forwards whilst hitting the shaft on the threaded end with a dead-blow nylon headed hammer

Cheers oiled lots yesterday but and locking washers all defiantly off
