hey guys i ordered a fuel pressure regulator from parts gate way and they sent me this

LAND ROVER FUEL PRESSURE REGULATOR DISCOVERY RANGE ROVER DEFENDER ETC8494 | eBay

i am positive this is not what i am thinking about

They sent you the part for a V8 petrol - as per their advert

In deed that is the correct part for a V8 engine, if the Td5 has such an item and u order had the correct part number let them know and send it back.
