Hi guys, I've basically bought a 3.9 V8 Disco as a donor vehicle to build a tomcat, however, I'm struggling to secure self-drive transport from West Yorkshire to Bedfordshire to collect.

Has anyone used any good companies in West Yorkshire? Preferably Leeds / Bradford area so that I can collect the beast on the 2nd of June? I have a Defender tow vehicle :car:

make sure it is OK on the weight - most self drive transporters are not .

good point MHM... I believe the 3rd result on my search was a nationwide trailer hire company that do a twin axle car trailer for about £30

Most car trailers won't take a disco make sure the trailer Gross weight is at least 3000Kg preferrable 3500Kg.

then figure out what you can tow it with .

forget that - yu have a deepender - does it matter if its a 90 or 110?

Just as long as it's not a 2.5N/A diesel.

I tried towing an Omega on a brian james trailer with my old ex army 110. It wasn't cool, and it wasn't comfortable for the 4 hours it took me either.
