Okay been away for a couple of weeks in a company car which was petrol, today without much thought went to put some fuel in mine and put in about £4 before I woke up!

There was about £15 worth of Diesel in the tank and i have added another £25 it seems to be running okay (if anything a bit smoother)

So is it likely to be okay?

£4 worth of petrol would not fill a cigarette lighter these days.
I have done the same in the past you did the best thing by putting a load of diesel in to dilute it, may be a plan to add more as soon as it goes down a bit, probably wont come to too much harm. keep listening to it and cross your fingers.

It will clean your injectors a bit no worries, guys around here are adding 5l of petrol to a full tank before MOT to get better emission test... it seems it works without probs(i didnt try it myself though), fill it up and put 0.5L of mineral 2 stroke oil in the tank and you might even like it

I've done the same on a Renault van, put in probably 80% petrol. Ran really well but wouldn't start the next morning. Had to bump it. The garage said put in 2 stroke oil as the previous poster suggested and top it up with diesel as and when.
