Nodge68 Well-Known Member Apr 24, 2013 #4 If you don't need to paint the sealer then a general purpose silicone sealer is fine. If you want to paint it then you need an acrylic sealer

sijwhite Active Member Apr 24, 2013 #5 I used a Black Polyurethane sealant like this: Toolstation > Adhesives & Sealants > General Sealants > Polyurethane PU40 Sealant 310ml as specified here: Freelander - Water Ingress Into Luggage Compartment - Taildoor Seal - Land Rover Typically, it didn't properly rain for ages after I'd completed the job. It has rained now and all is well and dry.
