Does anybody know of any tracks or places that are legal to drive off road in Scotland? I know that you can sometimes drive on forrest tracks, and i've looked into joining SGRC. The days out look like good fun, but it would be nice to be able to get out there with just a few mates.

Many of the 4x4 groups/clubs organise days-out, but as the_wolf says, there are no Green Lanes as such. A few good forest drives in the Aberfoyle area. Just getting around up here does me! :D

I was hoping to join you all tomorrow Ally, but I have old mate coming to town so I won't be able to. I'm hoping to get on the next trip in May.
Do you have any idea where they are going?

I'm in the South of the city. Out near Clarkston. What about you?
