Plenty advertised on Ebay specifically for the P38.

Beware you pick good ones on eBay. The set I bought leak through the valve inserts, but good enough for testing for leaks or to get me home as long as the caps are tight.

I made a set for next to .nothing. I went to a truck tyre place and scrounged a handful of used truck tyre valves. These have a long brass stem. I cut the bend off and just machined a little bit off to make the diameter the same as the EAS air line, 4 plastic airline couplers, job done, cost about £2.

The place that flogs them on ebay is near me. Wrekin pneumatics, dunno if that helps. Blue colour is usually 6mm but not always.

Machining is beyond me lol and I will try Wrekin.
Only advert on ebay are £60 from Spain

Did the same as Datatek and ran around for about a fortnight including a 250 mile journey home on them. The valve cores I used were 6mm after stripping off the rubber so I used a 6mm compression fitting and a push on connector to connect to the pipes that run from the air bags to the valve block. I carried them around in the car with a 12v tyre inflator knowing that one day I would need them......and of course I did. I would imagine that a tyre fitting place would let you have them for coppers if you could establish that they are the type with the brass insert.

I don't mind nipping down and getting you a set and posting them on to you if you get stuck. Can't remember how much they were now but not £60, got £24 in my head???

I think it's a side hustle done by one of the employees who is a landy fan.
Whoever answers the phone might not even know what you are on about possibly. They aren't the most organised place I've found. But as keith has said but slightly different? I've read somewhere that car valves are 6mm so no shaving required?
I keep meaning to get some valves but I like living in the fast lane me, don't carry tools either:eek:

I used the valves from push bike inertubes they were 6mm you just had to cut the rubber of and clean it up, son works part time at a bike shop so had the pick of old ones , i should do a little side line of kits judging buy what is being charged:rolleyes: bag of 6mm push fits and sit there in the evening with a pint:D

Interesting.
Think I've a tube or two somewhere.
Maybe we can go into partnership, I've got, I think somewhere, a few 6mm pushfits.
Briflo industries has a ring to it.:p
