I have given him/her the info, as a link to a forum dedicated only to the freelander 2. I know for a FACT that the subject has been covered on there a number of times, including an indication of good sellers and bad sellers, and how to do the upgrade.
I guess in your world I should have gone to the forum, searched for the threads for him/her, then posted a link, or perhaps that wouldn't be going far enough, maybe I should go round his/her house and load it up for him/her on his computer so he/she doesn't have to move or make any effort, better still, why don't I buy the CD for him/her and go round his/her house and do it for them.
Maybe better still, I should just buy them the latest freelander 2 which would hopefully come with the latest cd installed.
