Good Morning Folks,

I was wondering if I could get some help please?

I have had my FL2 07 HSE for just over a year now, I have an issue that I can not seem to get to the bottom of.

Started a good couple of months ago, was driving home and my sat nav screen went off, then back on with the LR logo, then off again for about 10 minutes, then came back on and was stable again. and thought it was a one off

This seems to have progressively got worse and does it every time I start the car now. off/on/off/on if i leave it rebooting it comes back on and stays on while i am driving, but when i switch off, it's back to off/on/off again.

I have done some looking around here, and the consensus is that it is the bluetooth module. I replaced it and thought it was fixed, but it's back again..

So I replaced:

Bluetooth module
DVD disk
DVD Drive
Sat Nav Screen
Radio Head Unit.

still the same result.

I did read a document that states, pull the infortainment link (in the boot fuse box) and it puts the MOST network into diagnostic mode, and codes can then be read (DTC), I bought a cheapo £20 reader, but no codes are being logged.

Just bought a haynes book of lies, (for the wiring diagrams) and it states that these modules need to be coded to the car? is this true? as everything appears to work, radio/screen/sat nav/bluetooth if i disconnect and reconnect the battery. but then get the dreaded off/on/off again.

The modules I got were off a 2013 FL2 if that makes any difference?

I also heard someone mention an earthing point behind the drivers seat that could be iffy?

Do I need to get one of the IIDTOOLs that @Nodge68 mentioned for £511? is my crappy ODB reader just not reading the codes that could indeed be there?

I contacted my local auto electrician so he could read any possible codes, but was told he does not touch LR's in any way shape or form as LR refuse to give him any reference documentation.

I think it's about time I stopped right here and seek help, before spending any more money.

Can anyone please offer some advice or help, I really need to get to root cause, before it turns into a money pit. :D

Best Regards.

Ok I have been out and managed to get this

Does this help?

Don't have a FL2, so can't tell yopu for certain, but on my FL1 and on other cars when using the Garmin and the heating blows there I have the same. Also in summer when it gets hot behind the windscreen it turns off and on, mainly only when it cools down again. Maybe the heating causes it.

Thank you both for reading and the replies, it's appreciated!

I *think* I have sorted maybe?

I have changed the Bluetooth module yet again and in that first image the number of most modules has changed from 5 to 6, however everything else is still the same?

My phone is now recognised with a module with a date greater or equal to 2010, my phone is a moto g32 if that helps anyone in the future?

If it keeps working is anyone's guess, I have had my battery off for the last four days charging, and just connected back up, and the module is still working OK.

Time will tell I guess.

Thanks again all who took the time to read and respond :)
