I have an '03 Discovery that i bought about a year ago. I like the car but when i got it there was very little history with it and no sign of the sat nav discs for the factory fitted unit (which I belive is a Becker system).
I've been trying to source new discs ever since but I'm not happy to pay £160 which LandRover want!
Does anyone know where I can get discs at a more reasonable price to suit? I need the whole lot as since the car was last serviced it lost what memory it had and now just keeps asking for the nav disc to be loaded.
Help anyone?

Hi acwchester, I'm sure you've looked already on ebay, there are some one there but are expensive so no point, but might be worth checking back every few days. Have you got anyone in your area that specialises in Land Rovers for repair/service? Every area usually has one or two Land Rover enthusiast mechanics that could probably source one for you either to cope or at a decent price.

Thanks for the tip. I've tried ebay periodically but no luck. I've looked on a number of other sites about sat nav generally and I've asked someone who seems to know a lot about downloading software off the web! No luck anywhere.
I know one of the senior men at the local dealer but he couldn't help.
The car is due a service next week and I'm going to sak there......I think I'll just keep trying.

i have the becker 03 disc with my 05 td4 freelander.....i have made a back up of my original disc so i dont scratch it ,and i am using my back up copy .....i would like to know if there is a newer version about.......let me know if your still stuck for a disc.
