Hi All, am looking at buying a Sankey/Penman trailer. Q? what are the differences between the varying trailers? I see the following descriptions online auctions/vendors

1. Sankey Widetrack [here, guessing wider axle/wheel track - if so, from what year]
2. Penman Wolf HD trailer [ https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/26528302...Web&brand=Wolf&_trksid=p2563228.c101113.m2108 ]
3. Sankey/Penman Lightweight GS [ https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/124412194853?hash=item1cf78b7025:g:zAQAAOSwBthfmaWJ ]

My confusion lies in the differences between lightweight GS and Wolf HD...are their any differences?

Most vendors provide the following data:
GTW 1750 kg Laden
Unladen Weight 620kg
Hydraulic Disc Brakes
Auto Reverse
Land Rover Wheels and Tyres
External dimensions, width: 1.8m x height: 1.25m x length: 3.1m

What do you need to know?
Early Sankey had narrower track than a Defender
Mk2, was often called widetrack. Same track as Defender.
Difference easily spotted as widetrack had a tailgate, narrowtrack didn’t.
The later Sankey with disc brakes (hydraulic) can be called mk3, widetrack.
These had the tow hitch mounted inline with the A frame.
The Penman followed on.
These are same track, have the tow hitch mounted on top of the A frame. And have a stainless steel tub.
These tow nose down unless the tow car has been lifted. The Sankey mk3 sits more level. This assumes you have the nato hitch on the crossmember.

Thanks @V8bob , this just what I've been wanting to understand. Did a pile of reading last night and have now gauged market price for a Penman
