Hi
I would be grateful for some advice.
I have a 1998 3.5 auto RR with air conditioning and need to sanitize the system. I have seen the cans which are be left to spray within the cockpit but they only appear suitable for systems which have an air recycling facility which mine does not. I have also looked at the Wurth Air Conditioning Disinfectant Spray which is injected into the condensate drain. Has anyone used the Wurth or similar product and can anyone tell me where the condensate drain is located?
Thanks
Doug

Never felt the need to use any of those products, but the condensate drain(s) on most cars are either side of the transmission

Would think switching air con on and spraying sanitiser into the air inlets would do the job.

I thonl its Valeo that do a spray into the vent so you don't need a recycle feature. I use the cans on clients cars as part of their service if they have aircon. Never had any doubts or complaints. I had one client who never looked after the pollen filter on their car and the sanitizer worked a treat for them. I do use it and would recommend it. :D

I use and have for a long time "PURATISE"

Not sure if its available now (I bought 6 cans back in 2018)
Easy to use and works for me and the L322
I set engine away set to recirc and open the tin in the rear footwell, you can also hold your breath and spray directly down your vents (in the car) leave venting in the car then turn engine and air con on after 5 minutes

The one with the little tube, have the car running and set the heater to cold or warm with fan speed on medium with the aircon on.
Spray in the heater fan inlet, if there is a pollen filter in there remove and replace with a new one. Once you've sprayed and emptied the can leave the car running with the heater on for about ten to fifteen minutes. Then stop the engine and let the windows down to air the car for ten minutes.

What do doctors know.. Pffff.

We used those STP "Lock & Leave" cans in several cars after changing the filters. Just leave the air-con running on full recirculation, activate the can & leave the car for 15 mins. Worked really well.

Yep, but be aware there are two types, one is but a mere nice smelly and the other is the proper real McCoy bacto assassin.
