After getting my 110 back to driveable a few of us went to play on salisbury plain again on sunday.

Remember where The mad hat man got stuck........:D :D :D

That werent that bad :eek:. i bin through worse. yu seen the vid of me doing it in my series? just a bit bouncy - ya wimp! anyroadup - wot was yu doing drivin - bin given permission fur good behaviour?:D

an that woz the EASY way!
 
Hi Ratty, cheers for a good day out, will post pics etc what I took tonight. Had to wash the Rangy twice to get all that crap off, part of the price I suppose.

I only got to drive the last quarter of the day as per usual:mad:

I hope you noticed her tellin me off for wanting to go through that puddle.:p

My rad is blocked solid with mud. I had to pull over on the way back to let it cool down. I guess I will be pressure washing it later. Hows yer welding getting on?

Hi Dorset

I gotta do that today. a) cos my rad is blocked and b) cos some neighbour of mine started shouting out the window at me. Something about a filthy Landrover being parked on the road and making the place look untidy?????? I haven't seen a filthy landy. The only thing I can see is a big chunk of mud sat at the side of the road. Blind cow.:p

She is one of then compulsive curtain twitchers. Funny how she dint notice it getting done over right outside her window innit?:rolleyes:

I bet she thought she had seen the last of it when it vanished for the week.

Then I brought it back all shiny shiny yesterday morning. That probably wiped half the smile off her face.:D

The when it got back with it plastered last night there wuz definately no smile to be seen.:D :D :D

Well...........except for the one on my face.:p
 
FFS I just sold both the seats out of my 90 for £50. and they'd just been recovered in exmor trim black vinyl covers. The drivers base was a brand new unit. If you'd said you could of had those.

never mind **** happens. A pair of seats will turn up on the cheap at some point. I oughta start a 'BITS NEEDED TO REPLACE FIRE DAMGE' fred:rolleyes:

Plenty of other seats will fit. I think someone mentioned Rover 200 coupe seats on another thread. Mg Maestro seat will certainly fit. & bucket seats go cheap on Fleabay all the time.

FFS tell whoever owns that vogue to buy a decent recovery rope. I've seen thicker bootlaces.
 
Three landrovers started coming down the hill towards us so I thought I would try and make the water look deeper than it was. I put my foot down to make a big splash.

you can see one of the landys in the top corner. the other two are out of view. One has a snorkel. One has huge tyres and all 3 are on muds tyres.
