Count me and the freeby as a definite maybe - got to sort out Uni taxi services for eldest child :) but would be keen. Happy to drive round the worst of the Plain's bombholes :D
 
yeah love to mate got my special tracks to test now! but got to sort my light prob as ive lost power to my radio,horn and lights everything else works and ive checked the fuses and earths?? any ideas. 94 200tdi disco.

hopefully it will be working by then....hope its only earth connections that need cleaning!
 
all ive done to cause it is wash under the bonnett but it was working fine after. 2days later no lights front or rear no radio and no horn wot an ass hole. checked the earths that i could find. next thing i think i will just check my wires to light switch and check conti and stuff. dont think its just a light prob as the radio dont work? might try and othe radio just 2 be sure. BUT WELL UP FOR THE 10TH THO LOVED IT LAST TIME!!!
 
hi guys i think i may have blown my gearbox?? got no drive in normal high or low but got drive in diff lock both hight and low. nasty clunk when you take drive up in diff lock and a rumbling noise in normal and no go? im thinking gearbox? hope to sort it by the 10th

na not yr gearbox its a diff or halfshaft..
hopefully the rear cos there a doddle to replace fronts a bit more tricky..

My target is more than one lane this time...

Still got no recovery points though so I'll have to girl out on the dodgy bits (assuming I actually get to them). :)

I did it just before christmas started making a 'noise', cumon its a disco thats normal, until the front drivers wheel fell off after I jacked it up. Sheared the half shaft first I recon, then sheared the break disc and the hub, hell of a mess, wouldnt recommend driving it too far lol, I'm no mechanic but it only took me a few hours with a mate

Yeah better luck this time! Everything's sorted now I take it, did feel slightly guilty leaving u there...
 
O and finally count me an as a probable, Disco's working fine again now so should be there provided I'm not working or anything

Hi dude!

Yi, Had it fixed by the following tuesday - just had to wait for a replacement airbag. Hope it was a one off failure but I might be a bit more gentle with it this time.
