I once transported a back door on the roof, but not too far and not on motorway. I take the back seats out of my Disco 2 to transport really big loads, or use a trailer. Not ideal in your circs I suppose, but if weight is an issue it gets round that.Hello All

According to the book, only 110 LBS on the rails apparently. But I am sure I and many others will have put more on than that.
