hello i am goin to try and make my own snorkle and try and do it so it looks like the southdown one.

but the top bit i would like the safari bit? would some 3inch drain pipe or simialar be ok and would the safari top fit on it?? if it doesnt wat size pipe do i need ?

and if any one has a southdown template saves me doin a search
i have searched for this and nwt came up

I made mine from platic downpipe from b&q you can use some of the existing plastics from your airbox to use for connections... cost me bout £20 incl sealants

i have a steel air box its a early 200tdi so the air box is steel not plastic !!!

anyways cheers for the reply and i will try and fit one some time !
