After nine years of a Defender ownership I have put my faithful 110 up for sale due to lack of use.
It has served me well over the years, Each year during the winter it has got me up snowy lanes where even the snow plow couldn't get up to visit the mother in-law who was snowed in. Had a great holiday crossing Morocco in it where it never missed a beat. Always started on the button no matter how long or how cold it was. I shall keep reading the threads on here. I had thought of selling the car and buying something like a Freelander but after owning a Defender its not the same.

Why don't you just use it - problem solved

dont sell it youll be sorry i sold mine in 2004 and was lucky to have a chance of buying it back 10 years later ,lucky he was an old friend he had looked after it .

I run a car with snow tyres during the winter which has better grip than the Defender but looses out in ground clearance in the deep stuff. At least the car is nice and warm unlike the Defender. When it's a deep snow the mother in-law will have to go and fend for herself.

i done that a few times sold a landy went back to a car but i really hate new cars with a passion hate electrics and well youve got to strip half the car down when something goes wrong ,
And i know what you mean id love another classic car but ,the way people down here drive these days ,theyre fooking idiots in cars vans ect i dont feel intimidated in the 90 so im keeping it . thing is the landy will out last a car its just depends on your preference ,like im sort of lucky i do all my work myself . good luck in what you do though ;)
