Decided to put my newly acquired Series 3 up for sale as I'm never going to be able to give it the attention these need, and the Mrs won't let me take our daughter out in it.
It's on ebay at the mo, but would prefer it go to a forum member.
It's had; new front dumb-irons and brakes all round.
Had my mate, who's an MOT tester look at it. All it needs in his opinion is washer pump not working (bought a new one will try to get sorted), and the rear gear-box cross member is corroded (have the new one, just needs fitting).
The bulk-head is excellent, as is the rear cross-member. Both footwells are good too. Chassis is generally very solid.
Paint looks better in the pictures than it is in real life. It's obviously been a DIY job, but looks ok.
Drivers door-top is new, but passenger-side could do with being replaced. Both door-bottoms are good.
2.25 diesel
engine is good and runs well, but is a bit smokey when cold.
gearbox/transfer box/diffs all good and quiet.
4x4/hi-lo work fine.
Been using this around the private estate where I work, and it's fine, but "she" says I sould get a Disco or something
