Ok found this under the engine after i had been tightening up the exhaust bracket somust have been knock off the engine block. Have googled to no avail has anyone got some info please.

I have that on my S3 engine. When I queried it on my thread I was told it was a military recon engine. Have a look at my rebuild thread. Do you still have a normal engine number in the normal place because I don't?

yours was an abro recon that one a factory recon for lr
