Hi I'm wondering if anyone has any tips on how to make the rear floor in my Disco watertight. There is no rust holes in the floor, I have checked from both sides and outside, it is wax oiled and in reasonable shape. The boot floor has been changed at some point in its life. Over the winter though I noticed the sound dampening material was attracting and trapping moisture to the boot floor, particularly around the rear arches. It seams although the rear arches and floor are in tact they seam to be porous, do people suggest I plate weld over the porous areas? Or should I treat them with some kind of waterproof material. Can metal be porous when you cant stick a screwdriver through it. Any ideas appreciated, I intend to try and keep my series 1 disco alive for many years to come and it is in good shape, but I dont want this problem to get worse. Thanks for the tips, Jim
