I've a Series III that's running hot - the Kelow Fan until recently always would win the battle and keep the gauge spot on in the middle . Now after a fast run down the motorway and a puff of blue smoke it seems always to be running hot . I don't believe the fast run down the motorway did any permanent damage its not smoking at all now but the gauge is still in the red . The Kenlow Fan still kicks in ok and all in all everything seems great - it's just the gauge creeps into the red too often where previously it didn't - any advise would be much appreciated .
Kind regards
Stephen

Check the thermostat could be failing. If it's losing it's wax it won't be opening properly. Fit a new one.
