I'm interested in buying a 1989 disco 1 3.5 v8 on lpg, infact i'm going to look at it tomorrow.

I've read the tyre guide:

Rear fender trimming (any guides on how to do this?)
Front endcap trimming

Front fender trimming.

Steering stops (where can I buy good quality items?)

Bump stop height. (again where can I get these?)

Spare tire will not fit on stock carrier. (is there anyway to modify it so it will, like fitting a plate to mount it higher or will that obscure too much rear vision?)

I was wondering what I would need to do to modify the disco to run 15x33x12.50 tyres properly for daily use as well as a bit of spirited off-roading, i've read that I need to upgrade the diffs due to the extra strain the wider/bigger tyres put on the drive train for example?

I don't intend to do any competition off-roading, but I do really enjoy going out on some easy to medium difficulty stuff so would I need a lift kit?

Does anyone know the costs involved for changing the diff ratio to 4.1 for instance, compensating for the tyre size?
