Hi Guys and thanks for letting Join the Forum ! Very New to the forum thing and was after a bit of advise with a problem i am having with my range rover.
So i have an issue when i get down the motorway at around 60-70mph after about 20 mins into my journey i get a Rumble/ vibration /shake bit like a flat tyre feel ! and a High pitch squeal aswell on the Left hand front of my vehicle but if i put my foot on the brake the squeal goes for a short time and then comes back ? then if i take it down to around 50mph for about 1-2 mile it dissapears ?? then i can boot back upto 70mpm and above with no issues ? After its happened ? it only happens when on the motorway and not about town. can't understand what it can be, Had all new brakes on rear a few month ago and Module ,my car is a range rover sport 2.7 V6 2007 Model Hse 119,000 Hope one of you guys can shine a light on what it could be , Thanks in advance.

Hi there
I had a similar problem with my P38 it turned out to be a UJ on front prop shaft I am not saying that you have the same problem but it’s worth a look
Hope you find out what it is and let us know
Yours Terry

If you get front left wheel up you will more than likely identify it. Can spin wheel to feel for brakes catching and give it good levering see if any play in it. If booked in garage they will find it no doubt.

Drumming noise and squeal sounds like a sticking brake ,,next time it happens ,stop put hand next to wheel ,and if one feels like you could light a cigarette thats the one to look at ...... ;)
